About Server+ certification: Server+ is considered next level of A+ certification. It is recommended to have about 18 to 24 months in the server technologies industry. Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting server hardware and NOS is important. At least one other IT certification such as CompTIA A+, Compaq ACT, Novell CNA, Microsoft MCP, HP STAR, SCO, or Banyan. Once you are Server+ certified, you are not asked to re-certify.
